Bikes will be taking over Stockton Riverside for the annual Stockton Cycling Festival in July and there's plenty going on for everyone to enjoy.


Here's just a taster of what's on offer...

Saturday
The cycling weekend starts with the Stockton Sportive on Saturday. Join this cycling challenge which starts on Stockton Riverside, offering cyclists of all abilities a choice of rides from 36 to 105 miles.

Sunday
FREE Family Festival Day on Stockton Riverside is packed full of brilliant family activities that everyone can watch, join in and enjoy, including:

Let's Ride Stockton - join the free HSBC UK Let's Ride!
Grab your bike and head to Stockton Riverside for this fun and accessible traffic-free ride. It doesn't matter what kind of bike you ride, how fast you go, or how old you are. Plus, you don't have to ride the full distance, just as much or as little as you want and it's entirely FREE to take part.

Stockton Grand Prix ​​​​​​- Watch Britain's top cycling teams and riders compete in this elite road race that will start/finish on Stockton Riverside, adjacent to the jam-packed event site. The route will then head out-of-town where riders will complete laps of our main race circuit through the leafy villages of Thorpe Thewles, Charlton, Redmarshall, Whitton and Thorpe Leazes, before returning for a gripping conclusion with a finishing circuit through Riverside and Teesdale.

Plus, visit the FREE Activity Village with a huge variety of free cycling themed family activities to see and do, including –
• FREE activities – climbing wall, crazy golf, face painting, arts and crafts and more!
• Cycle displays and stunt area
• HSBC UK Go Ride skills area
• Cycling themed traders and exhibitors offering some unique goods, advice and top tips
• A delicious selection of food and drink to enjoy throughout the day

The Events Village will also be hosting the podiums for the winners of the Stockton Grand Prix and the Extreme Bike Battle and will be the hub of all activity on this packed Sunday.
