Hartlepool Libraries are delighted to announce John Hegley The famously eccentric and very funny Poet and Comedian who will be visiting Hartlepool as part of his national tour. John Hegley is a regular sell-out at The Edinburgh Festival. One of the UK's most innovative comic poets with several best-selling volumes of poetry to his name. John has published poetry and picture books for children including My Dog is a carrot and I am Poetato. Come and hear John perform some of his favorite poems at what is sure is to be an unforgettable event suitable for children aged 5+ and their families. Dig deep into a wealth of stories, japes and verses, with plenty of healthy vocab for both young and older children.
Tickets for the event with John are:
Family ticket - £6 (4 family members which must include 1 adult)
Individual tickets - £3 (adult or child)
