Seymour Mace

About

Despite looking like a slightly dishevelled and demented geography lecturer, our headliner tonight, Seymour Mace is a brilliant comedian. He crackles with childish energy, getting caught in flights of fancy and going off on strange tangents, but never loses sight of the gag. A performer worth the admission price alone.
He was a regular in BBC2's Johnny Vegas sitcom 'Ideal', a former City Life Comedian of the Year and Breakthrough Act at the North West Comedy Awards. Like a truly bizarre hybrid of Harry Hill, Half Man Half Biscuit and Viz comic, Seymour is a teller of extremely tall tales and High Priest of the terrifically twisted one-liner. He was also victorious in the Cup A Soup Comedy Challenge. You may mock such a curiously named title but the prize money was 10 grand.
'Breathtaking... a surreal performance, he had the audience in the palm of his hand from start to finish' Evening Chronicle.
Phil Nichol is a truly unique performer. An acclaimed actor, award winning comedian, producer, presenter, writer and musician – there is no end to his talent! Phil is an energetic and exciting performer with an unquenchable thirst to break boundaries and innovate with his work. His skill as an improviser whether it be musical, comedy or straight is unparalleled. With a surreal edge to some of his mischievous rantings, Nichol always brings something new to the stage whilst his keen sense of fun and eye for the shocking and absurd has cemented his position as one of the best comedians on the circuit today.

"A genius of a show" The Herald

Donald Alexander has earned his reputation as a dry and obtuse funny-man after winning the Best Newcomer Award at the Scottish Comedy Awards 2017.
