Andrew Watt - The Art of Colour & Detail

About

In the words of Andrew Watt: I love working on large scale, with acrylic paint, enamel paint and ink which gives my art depth and creates free flowing intricate detail. My work is very colourful, energetic inspired from my original love of Abstract Expressionism. I have always been captivated by the abstract detail from artist like Turner, Constable, Picasso, Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollock Willem de Kooning, and more recently Jake Attree, Damien Hurst and Gerhard Richter. Throughout all of my work there exist the core elements of vibrant colour, bold shapes and intricate detail.
