About

The delights of Seaton Carew beach and location provide the opportunity to all to enjoy a traditional seaside experience. Seaton Carew provides all you would expect - a fabulous beach, arcades, fish and chips, restaurants and of course ice-cream!

It is possible to walk from the edge of Hartlepool Marina to the Tees Estuary and the Blue Lagoon Beach. The beach has easy access to the Marina via a splendid promenade which cyclists can also enjoy,

The broad sandy beach stretches over one mile in each direction from the resort centre, allowing families enough space to enjoy beach games and peace and solitude to those who are seeking a more gentle respite, or those who are simply wanting to enjoy a stroll, with or without their four legged friend.

The southern area of the beach leads to protected dunes, which are adjoined by Seaton Carew Golf Club, one of the first 50 golf courses built in the world. Continuing south, nature lovers can journey onto Seal Sands, home to common and grey seals and hundreds of species of migratory birds.

Rain or shine Seaton Carew is well worth a visit, even on a wintry day fish and chips sat in the car watching the raging North Sea is a pleasure to behold.
