Flatts Lane Woodland Country Park is the perfect place to explore the countryside south of Normanby. The park is also an ideal starting point from which to visit the Eston Hills.
The car park is located off Flatts Lane that runs between Normanby and the A171 Guisborough Road. Brown tourist signs are located in Normanby and on the A171 directing people to the park.
Access on foot is possible from Normanby, Eston, Ormesby, Spencerbeck and Nunthorpe.
The site is open all day, seven days a week. The Visitor Centre, which sells cold refreshments, fresh coffee, pocket money priced toys and a selection of home crafted wooden gifts is open each day from 9am - 4pm.

Nearest major road is A171. Travelling from the east turn right onto Flatts Lane. Travelling from the west turn left onto Flatts Lane. Follow road down bank, a sharp left turn takes you into country park car park.
Nearest station is Nunthorpe Station. On leaving station follow road past shops until you reach roundabout. Turn left down bank. Follow 1st bridleway on right which leads into country park.
