Thrill-seekers, water sport junkies and sport enthusiasts rejoice! Outdoor sport and adventure activities return from this week, 29 March and we can’t wait to get our blood pumping again with some of the Tees Valley’s most adrenaline-fuelled activities.

If you are more than ready to get out on the water, tee-off on the golf course or take advantage of getting back on the tennis court, then you need to check out the outdoor venues below that are ready to welcome you back.

Tees Barrage International White Water Centre

The Tees Barrage International White Water Centre is opening just in time for the Easter holidays to ensure you have a splashtastic time on the water with Stand Up Paddleboarding, white water paddling on the Olympic standard white water rafting course and kayaking.

There may be a little longer to wait until the opening of the on-site high ropes course, Air Trail from 12 April, but there is more than enough to enjoy for now.

Hartlepool Marina

On water activities are back with On Water training based at Hartlepool Marina as they resume powerboat and jet-ski training from 1 April.

Surfing at Saltburn

If you have been dreaming of getting back on a board to catch some waves, then the coast off the pretty Victorian town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea is the perfect place to hone your surfing skills thanks to Flow Surf School and Saltburn Surf School.
