Multi-award winning Asian restaurant on Yarm High Street. In 2014 Raj Bari won the award for Best Asian Restaurant in the North East at the prestigious 2014 Asian Curry Awards. The restaurant was the first original Balti House to come to Tees Valley. Salim Siddique also won an award for the best South Asian Curry in the North East and in 2013 the restaurant came third in the parliamentary Indian food award, The Tiffin Cup.
In 2015 one of the restaurant’s executive chefs won Chef of the Year in the Asian category of the North East Culinary Trade Association (Necta).
The menu focuses on traditional South Indian cuisine while retaining favourites such as Tikka Massala and Balti.
With a high emphasis on customers’ requirements, Raj Bari continues to be innovative in developing the menu and promises to the variety of cuisine of the Indian sub-continent.
