Chef James Close cooks in the kitchen at The Raby Hunt Restaurant

About

Set in the rural hamlet of Summerhouse, near Darlington, The Raby Hunt Restaurant is one of twenty two Michelin Star restaurants in the UK.

Owned and run by one of Britain’s most exciting and innovative young chefs, James Close, known for his highly original, simple, yet visually stunning food. Theatre, presentation and seasonality are to the fore, with The Raby Hunt offering one tasting menu of 15 to 17 courses.

The Kitchen Table was launched in 2017, where up to six diners per sitting are able to take a front row seat in the kitchen and be personally attended by James and his team.
