About

Make sure to join the National Museum of the Royal Navy, Hartlepool on 28th and 29th January for an out of this world stargazing experience.

They have teamed up with Wonder Dome to provide an amazing pop-up planetarium where you can watch the stars in the night sky and find out more about our solar system.

Then make your way on board HMS Trincomalee, discover this historic ship and take part in object handling activities where you can find out how sailors used the stars to navigate their way across the ocean over 200 years ago. Make sure you end your visit on the Quayside where you can see a live firing of a cannon and musket.

This exciting experience is happening throughout the day and into the evening and is the perfect activity to start the year off.

Tickets for this experience are £2 with a valid attraction ticket.
