About
Eston Arts Centre is pleased to be showing The World We Live In.
The World We Live In showcases brilliant young photographers from the TS6 area of Redcar and Cleveland who have been learning about photography and photographers who use film, and have been experimenting with analogue photography.Using analogue cameras they took photographs in and around their home documenting their lives and interests.
They worked with a photographer and an art therapist on the project, and for many it was the first time they had used film cameras. The exhibition showcases the project, and the photographs in the show were selected by the children.
The photographs on display show an interest in family, nature, portraits, landscapes, wildlife and storytelling. The pictures are thoughtful and intelligent with conversations around memory, home and remembrance.
