About
‘Proper songs performed properly’
From soaring indie rock anthems to burlesque-inspired cabaret numbers, The Firrenes (it rhymes with ‘beans’) are a melodic, song-based rock band from Edinburgh who know how to put on a show. This concert will feature brand new songs from the band, plus old favourites from the album Door Too Wide, with one or two numbers from the classic British and American songbook thrown in. A varied and fun-packed evening of music awaits. Not to be missed.
The Firrenes are delighted to welcome Hartlepool singer-songwriter Gaz Price as their support act. Gaz is a 27-year-old, brutally honest singer-songwriter who is passionate about the town he was brought up in.

Fans of David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, Amy Winehouse and Neil Young may particularly appreciate this concert.
