Join us on 27 or 28 January for an out of this world stargazing experience.
We’ve teamed up with Wonder Dome to provide an amazing pop-up planetarium where you can watch the stars in the night sky and find out more about our solar system.
Then make your way on board HMS Trincomalee, explore this historic ship, and take part in object handling activities where you can find out how sailors used the stars to navigate their way across the ocean over 200 years ago.
This exciting experience is happening throughout the day and on Friday evening and is the perfect family activity to start the year off!
Tickets for this experience are £4 with a valid attraction ticket.

Opening Times
Our stargazing event has a variety of timeslots that you can book.
27th January - Timeslots available between 11am - 4pm and 6pm - 9pm
28th January - Timeslots available between 11am-4pm.
Prices
Tickets to our stargazing activities are £4 per person with a valid attraction ticket.
Purchasing Information: New customers to the museum need to add their stargazing event ticket via the 'enhance your visit' section of the purchasing process (after booking your attraction tickets). Our attraction tickets are valid for a full year, this means that you can return to the site as many times as you like and take part in a variety of our events and activities over the coming year for no extra cost.
