Based in Albert Park, the Middlesbrough Mela is one of the biggest and most spectacular multi-cultural festivals in the North East bringing together live music, delicious food, fashion and lots of family fun.

Middlesbrough Mela will be holding not one, but THREE micro Melas for you to enjoy, plus loads of fun activities in Middlesbrough’s parks and museums over the summer.

Sports Mela: (date to be announced).
We’re bringing the traditional Sports Mela back to Albert Park for a weekend of fun in the sun with a sporty twist! Try out Mela yoga, grab a tennis racket or put on your skates and head to the ring.

Family Mela: Sunday 8 August
Head over to Albert Park for a fun-filled day the whole family will enjoy. We have something for everyone, including street food, live music, capoeira, dance workshops and of course, a funfair!

Middlesbrough Town Hall Mela: 14 & 15 August
Our friends at the Town Hall will be hosting a full weekend of all things Mela. Think music, comedy and curry – what’s not to love?!
