Live at Middlesbrough Town Hall is inspired by the BBC’s Live at the Apollo where comedy giants take to the stage of the legendary London venue.

The new show features Joel Dommett, MC Matt Reed, Emmanuel Sonubi and Jen Brister.

Fans of ITV’s The Masked Singer and The Masked Dancer will be delighted to see Joel Dommett.

The all-round funny man and stand-up star has featured on a host of other well-known shows including Live in Chelsea, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me out of Here and The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice.

Regulars at Big Mouth Comedy Club, the monthly comedy show in Middlesbrough Town Hall Crypt, will recognise MC Matt Reed, the ‘comedian with a beard’. BBC Newcastle have declared the Sunderland born and bred MC’s skills as “reason alone to attend a comedy night”.

London-based Emmanuel Sonubi has quickly earned a reputation as one of the most sought-after acts currently working on the comedy scene today.

Featuring on Live at the Apollo, Comedy Central Live, ITV2’s Stand Up Sketch Show and soon to be playing London’s Comedy Store, his credits continue to grow with his popularity.

A regular performer on the UK and international comedy circuits, Jen Brister has written and performed five solo shows and has also toured extensively, including currently supporting Frankie Boyle in London. The outrageously funny stand-up, actor and podcaster completes a cracking Boro line-up.
