It brings us great pleasure to welcome back the wonderful James Leonard Hewitson to Base Camp. James had a fantastic 2021 and kicks off the year with a bang, releasing brand new single STABLE on Feb 16th. James knocked out crowds at End Of The Road Festival & Twisterella last year and had numerous BBC 6 Music radio play. With a killer live band behind him, 2022 promises to be a great year for Hartlepool’s finest.
Joining James on the lineup are the legendary Pellethead! I’ve got my name in lights, I’m gonna tread the boards, gonna be a bus conductor, a dustman. Pellethead are a pure, unadulterated force of nature – totally one of a kind.
Shoegaze-pop kings Sorry Escalator will hurl you into a magical lucid dream of fractal, shimmering sound. Influence can be heard from My Bloody Valentine to Yak to Melody’s Echo Chamber.
