Care about the environment? Have things you want to say? Join us at The Hullabaloo to ‘Create a Hullabaloo!’
Each morning children will build their theatre skills through singing, devising, playing drama games and more based around the theme of ‘Create a Hullabaloo!’ and saving the environment. We know lots of children are very passionate about the environment and this will be a chance for them to develop their creative skills and to make their voices heard.
The inspiration for the week is the book ‘Greta and the Giants‘. This motivating picture book retells the story of Nobel Peace Prize nominee Greta Thunberg – the Swedish teenager who has led a global movement to raise awareness about the world’s climate crisis – using allegory to make this important topic accessible to young children.
We’ll be creating songs and videos to bring the book to life, as well as writing poems and creating crafts with recyclable objects.
Please note, this is a 2-day workshop from Thursday 28th – Friday 29th July.
With the support of others, expert storyteller and author, Chris Connaughton, will be facilitating the workshops and brings over 14 years of experience of working with children.
We can’t wait to see what your children create!

Children will need to come in comfy clothes and bring their own lunch and snacks each day.
