Classical Café is an opportunity to experience classical music in a more relaxed, informal setting. The space is set up café style, with small round tables, with drinks and cake served prior to the performance, which you can enjoy while you listen.
James Corking DipABRSM ARSM is currently in his third year at university studying BMus at the Royal Northern College of Music. Before beginning his studies, James worked at Egglescliffe School and Sixth Form as a music teaching assistant as well as numerous Primary Schools, teaching brass and singing. James gained an ARSM in singing and DipABRSM in trumpet in 2019. James was principal trumpet in Tees Valley Youth Orchestra and performed in New York’s world-renowned Carnegie Hall for their 50th anniversary. James played Cornet in Championship section Leyland and Fishburn Bands, who qualified for the National Finals at the Royal Albert Hall and is currently principal cornet of the Yorkshire Brass Band, Strata Brass. He was also a member of Egglescliffe Chorale who recently sang in St. Marks Basilica, Venice.
