Billingham International Folklore Festival is set to return in August 2021 but with a difference.
Due to COVID-19 international travel restrictions it isn’t possible for performers from across the globe to make it to Billingham, however you can still prepare to be dazzled at ‘World in a Weekend’ from Billingham International Folklore Festival of World Dance.
It will see audiences enjoy a line-up of UK-based performers from Colombia, Ukraine, The Philippines, New Zealand, India and the United Kingdom in a celebration of their unique cultures and dance styles.
The main performances will take place at the Forum Theatre, Billingham, including matinees and evening shows.
There will also be an extensive programme of free presentations, workshops and special activities for children in Billingham Town Centre across the three-day weekend.
