Bring a picnic to Tees Barrage for the Big Jubilee Lunch! It’s set to be a fun afternoon featuring performances from Marina and Cherie Gears, Urban Voice Choir, Northern Brass Monkey Band, and the award winning Reg Vardy Brass Band. Bring your blankets, camping chairs and picnic basket for an exciting gathering and celebrate the Jubilee with the whole community.

11:05am-11:45am Northern Monkey Brass Band

12:00pm-12:15pm Poetry readings with local author Lisette Auton including the three-poetry competition winning poems.

12:30pm-12:45pm British Legion flags display with Sea Cadets and schools parade. Plus a flags display from Rivers of Hope with BloomInArts.

1pm-1:40pm Marina and Cherie Gears performance accompanied by Urban Voice Choir and Musical Makatons signing.

2pm-3pm Reg Vardy Band

2:55pm-3pm Colourful canoe display

Head to the marquee for arts, crafts and entertainment throughout the day including:

  • Make your own flag with BloominArts
  • Make your own origami lily with Simon Turner
  • Free Jubilee glitter make-up from The Sparkle Scene

Don’t forget to stop by the vintage Jubilee double decker bus for a showcase of historical Royal photographs within Stockton-on-Tees. Leave us your Jubilee memories and get your picture taken to create future memories.

Please note, parking at Tees Barrage on Sunday 5 June will be limited. Disabled parking will be available onsite however spaces will be limited.

We recommend using the free car parks within Stockton Town Centre and walking to Tees Barrage along the riverside path which can be accessed via Riverside Car Park (approx 15 minute walk). A list of town centre car parks can be found on the Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council website.
