Animex International Festival of Animation, VFX and Games, founded by Teesside University over 20 years ago, is your chance to get the low-down and behind the scenes secrets of the biggest hits in cinema, TV and games from some of the industries’ brightest lights and future stars, brought together to share their knowledge with the next generation.

Our online festival is jam packed with talks, masterclasses and networking opportunities; LIVE for one day and available on-demand for 30 days after the event. Whether you are hoping to work in the industry, an animator/games developer or simply a fan of games and animation, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Animex Open Access - FREE

Our Open Access Pass will provide you with access to The Vault, our bank of fantastic pre-recorded talks and masterclasses. You will also gain access to the Exhibition hall where you can come and chat, or share your portfolio with exhibitors, recruiters, Teesside University academics, and fellow attendees. Join us for FREE online and say hi!

Animex Talk Pass - £25

This pass will grant you access to The Vault, Exhibition Hall and Main Auditorium, the venue for our live Animation, VFX and Games talks, and the Diversity and Inclusivity Showcase. We have some of the biggest names in the industry coming to present to you with live Q&As!

Animex Industry Pass - £75

An Access-All-Areas pass! We’d really recommend this pass for professionals, educators or those looking to learn more. It provides you with exclusive access to our Industry Auditorium which is the venue for our more specialist talks, to the Animex Industry Lounge, and to the Q&A with our inspiring Animex Inclusivity and Diversity Speakers.
