About
BBC Folk Awards finalist, UKE Magazine breakthrough artist winner and English Folk Expo mentee Amelia Coburn returns to cap off a year of huge progression on her musical journey with, what is now, her “traditional” festive event.
From a sold-out debut solo tour of the UK, numerous festival appearances across the country and in Europe, including Cambridge Folk Festival, Focus Wales, Aldeburgh Festival and the Austrian Ukulele Festival and support spots with Ashley Campbell (daughter of Country legend Glen) and “The Sex Pistols of Folk” – Trials of Cato – as well as releasing an acclaimed EP of original songs ruminating on life, mortality and family, Amelia has established herself now as a unique voice across a number of acoustic genres.
Joined by the superb Harriet Bradshaw, who will not only open the show with a set of her own fantastic solo material but also join Amelia later in the evening along with other more familiar friends for what will prove to be a musical highlight of the year.
