This section of the Teesdale Way presents two options for concluding (or initiating) the Teesdale Way: one lies between South Bank and the breakwater at South Gare, Teesmouth, which is of particular interest to those wishing to trace the Tees’ course; the other between South Bank and Redcar, a seaside resort offering hospitality, entertainment, and transportation links. To return from Teesmouth, travelers can take a taxi, private transport, or enjoy a few more miles of beach-side strolling to Redcar. With its rail link, this section makes an excellent day walk.
