A wide variety of sports facilities are available at this Council run facility, which lies in a central location on Raby Road. Two swimming pools, one to competition standards with a 57 metre indoor / outdoor water slide and two 1m diving board facilities as well as a teaching pool.
Excellent pool, sports hall and fitness room facilities with classes for all ages and abilities. There are two squash courts and a health suite that comprises of a sauna and steam room.
Multi purpose hall which is used for a wide range of sporting activities such as badminton, five-a-side football, basketball, netball and cricket nets as well as providing a venue for concerts, theatre productions, trade fairs and conventions.
Fitness room – fully equipped state of the art technogym equipment includes single station and cardio vascular fitness equipment machines. Community area – available for meetings and ancillary sports activities including table tennis, yoga and super circuit classes. This room is also used as a children’s soft play environment.
