The “New” York House is based in the centre of Hartlepool town. A warm and welcoming guest house ideally situated for the many attractions the North East has to offer. Only a ten-minute drive to the A19 and a ten-minute walk from Hartlepool train station and Hartlepool Football Stadium.
With 14 bedrooms all recently modernised and comfortably furnished, a free continental and free full English breakfast are served daily.
Free Wi-Fi and free on-street parking is available for all guests (streets surrounding hotel are restricted during 9am-6pm with permits which are available from reception upon arrival. Secure storage for bikes and motorcycles is also available.
The Restaurant and Bar are currently closed for refurbishment.
Hartlepool boasts a spectacular marina, where you will find some wonderful restaurants and wine bars and if history is your thing then you can visit the National Museum of the Royal Navy which tells the story of life at sea during the 18th century at the time of Nelson, Napoleon and the Battle of Trafalgar. You can also board the fully restored HMS Trincomalee, Britain’s oldest warship still afloat.
Please note: The “New” York hotel is a three-storey town house and does not have a lift at the premises. If you have difficulty with stairs please request a lower floor room when booking.
