Best Western Hotel Hartlepool exterior

The Best Western Grand Hotel styled on a French Chateau, is pivotal to the historic town of Hartlepool. From the imposing Victorian Ballroom, to the larger than average accommodation, there is so much to offer to the business or tourist traveller. Tavistock Leisure has breathed new life into the Grand implementing a massive refurbishment in all 47 bedrooms in 2008, a new 'italic' restaurant, the new stylish and comfortable Pearl Bar and the impressive 'Great Room'. The Grand is situated in the centre of Hartlepool and is conveniently placed to visit the town’s fantastic Marina, key maritime attractions and main shopping facilities.

Across the road you will find Middleton Grange Shopping Centre which is the third largest shopping centre in the North East - where you will find all the high street labels you could wish for.

A further ten-minute stroll brings you to the impressive Hartlepool Marina development which as well as the 500 berth marina you will find Hartlepool's Maritime Experience, which encompasses award winning attractions in the shape of Hartlepool Historic Quay, HMS Trincomalee and the museum of Hartlepool. Close by you will find a worldwide mix of restaurants, multi screen cinema and great shopping facilities including a 24hr supermarket.

In 2010 the hotel won an International Quality Award from Best Western. With only 11 awards given out to any of the 270 Best Western Hotels, it put the Grand Hotel in the top 4% Best Western Uk hotels.
